An Austin Realtor® Establishes Her Brand Around Her Name

Tuesday Joiner, a Realtor®, has lived and worked in Austin for over 30 years. For the past four years, she’s built up her real estate business. She contacted me to build a website around a recognizable brand—one that did not yet exist. I suggested we build it around her name. How many people do you know named Tuesday? Is it a name you can forget, considering we are all reminded of it every seven days?

Tuesday operates under Just Because It’s Tuesday Realty. Before working on any brand elements, I created a primary and a secondary logo. After some discussion, I suggested using the tagline, “For Austin Real Estate, It’s Always Tuesday.” She loved it. Next, I turned my attention to her color palette. I used “sizzling red” as her primary color and mixed in some complimentary colors and multiple-use colors such as black, white, and gray. I picked Proxima Nova as her brand’s primary typeface because of its versatility and clean look.

I thought of the “I Love To Do Homework” tagline as a specific way to build brand recognition at the end of Instagram reels. As an added touch of style, I also include Tuesday’s name as an animated cursive signature.

Tuesday uses tuesdayjoiner.com as the center of her real estate marketing efforts. She also uses the Mailer-Lite platform to manage her email marketing. Since she has a growing following on Instagram and uses it as her primary means of social media content marketing. I agreed to manage her social media content for 5 days a week for one year. Using Linktree, I embed the QR code tag in all social media content, driving traffic back to her website where visitors can download a digital publication based on their interest—one for homebuyers, another for sellers in exchange for an email address.

Tuesday Joiner is unique in more ways than just her name. She’s personable, professional, and flexible. Her enthusiasm and personality rub you in the right way. It’s a pleasure to deal with that type of client! Working with her has not only sharpened by content creation IQ but has made me more aware of ways to express ideas in a unique fashion.
